Elvet Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading national housebuilder for an experienced Sales Executive to join their successful sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer journey, from initial enquiry through to legal completion and beyond. This would be to cover a development in South Tyneside.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the entire sales process, ensuring customers receive a first-class experience while maximising sales opportunities and contributing to the continued success of the development. This role would suit a motivated sales professional with experience within the new homes sector who thrives in a customer-focused environment and is driven to achieve results.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Taking ownership of the development, ensuring exceptional presentation standards and customer experience at all times
- Managing the entire customer journey from initial enquiry through to completion and aftercare
- Acting as the main point of contact for purchasers and all relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Promoting company-recommended mortgage brokers and solicitors to support customers through the buying process and achieve purchasing deadlines
- Proactively generating and following up sales leads to maximise conversion rates and achieve agreed sales targets
- Conducting market research, competitor analysis, and price benchmarking to support sales performance
- Supporting marketing initiatives including advertising campaigns, events, incentives, and promotional activities
- Arranging and attending customer appointments and site visits
- Carrying out home demonstrations and customer handovers, ensuring purchasers are fully familiarised with their new property
- Maintaining regular contact with customers following completion to ensure satisfaction and provide aftercare support
- Completing all sales administration, reporting, and documentation accurately and within agreed timescales
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures, sales standards, and health & safety requirements
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver business objectives
What We're Looking For:
- Previous sales experience within the new homes or housing industry
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets
- Strong self-management skills with the ability to work independently and proactively
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good IT and computer literacy skills
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle
- Flexible approach to working weekends and bank holidays as required
