Elvet Recruitment is working with a leader within the renewable energy supply market looking for a Senior / Lead Bid Writer to join their team in the county of Durham area.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Take lead writing bids
- Research clients
- Mentor bid writers
- Review bids and answers before being submitted ensuring all key points etc are covered in depth
- Responsible for writing bids and contribution to answers – hands on role
- The person will work closely with our Bid Team to create project specific tender plans including check points, progress
- Have a strong understanding of social value
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience within public sector procurement (Social housing, local Authority, Capital Works, Construction)
- Knowledge on social value and how to get economically score well
- Knowledge on frameworks and how they work
Role details:
- 37 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 - 17:30
- Full Time, Permanent
- Up to £50,000 per annum DOE
- Office based (flexibility available)
