Job Description

Elvet Recruitment are on the lookout for an experienced Earthworks Engineer for a business based in the North East.

The business are a well-renowned Earthworks and Civil Engineering contractor, working on a Major Infrastructure project in the Region

Main Responsibilities:

• Delivery of on-site survey information, including; topographical survey observations and geospatial monitoring observations.
• Ensure setting out and quality assurance of the works is completed in accordance with the contract requirements in a timely manner.
• Management and instruction of Assistant Engineering Surveyors, including briefing and guidance.
• Preparing relevant risk assessments with regards to survey works.
• Use of LSS and GPS Machine Control

Experience Required

• Candidates should have proven experience at Site Engineer level on Earthworks projects
• Ability to present and process data
• Minimum qualification of HNC/HND, however a construction related degree is preferred
• CSCS, First Aid and Full Driver’s License.
• Previous use of Trimble

Remuneration

On offer is a package up to £50,000 (dependant on experience) plus a vehicle
