Job Description
Elvet Recruitment are recruiting a Senior Site Manager on behalf of an established main construction contractor in North Yorkshire.
Applicants will need to show a track record of excellent management and communication skills with the ability to proactively manage construction projects, including direct labour and sub-contractor resource and the ability to deliver quality construction projects within budget and programme timescales in a safe environment.
This company works as principal contractor on projects including: Healthcare, Extra Care, Commercial, Industrial etc.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage site team and supply chain to deliver projects to quality targets and deadlines.
- Produce construction phase plans and programming works.
- Co-ordination of various sub-contractors and direct delivery teams.
- Progress reports and meetings with senior management and clients.
- Ordering materials for site and managing supply chain.
- Daily site diaries & briefings.
Experience required:
Must have:
- Ability to manage project costs and on the ground delivery at all stages.
- Experience managing construction projects over £5m.
- Experience of healthcare and extra care construciton projects.
- Qualifications: CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid are essential.
- Degree or HNC/HND qualified is beneficial.
Remuneration:
A salary ranging from £55,000 to £65,000 (dependant upon experience) plus package.
